Isotropic scale only — Scaler assumes the image is flat-on and undistorted (no deskew or perspective correction). All measurements are computed in source-pixel space, so precision follows the source resolution: a screenshot of a PDF page at 4× zoom measures far better than one grabbed at fit-width.
