Brise
Design a sun-shading device — horizontal louvers, vertical fins, or an eggcrate — over one window at a chosen facade orientation and latitude. Sliders drive a live 3D preview whose glass shadow is drawn from the same closed forms as the numbers. A sun-path chart paints the shading mask over the day arcs; read winter-sun-kept and summer-sun-cut, scan a month×hour heatmap, and export a laser-ready mm-true cut sheet, a PNG of the mask, or JSON. Direct-beam screening, not a daylight sim. Client-side.
Dark bands are the current sun-hour’s shadow on the glass, drawn from the same equations as the numbers.
Glass is ≥85% shaded around midday (11 am–1 pm) in May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep.
Direct beam only — no diffuse sky, no reflections. This is device-geometry screening, not a daylight simulation. Seasons: heating Nov–Mar, cooling May–Sep (hemisphere-aware).
