Dither Camera
Point your phone or webcam at anything and watch it become a live dithered / halftone image — 10 algorithms (Floyd-Steinberg, Atkinson, Bayer, angled halftone, variable dots, lines, crosshatch…), CMYK colour screening, a Sobel edge overlay, posterise, gamma / invert. Built for PIAF tactile printing and zines: freeze a frame and save a high-contrast PNG. Front / back camera, all in the browser.
Point the camera at anything for a live dither, or load an image. Freeze a frame to fine-tune and save. Nothing is uploaded.
Mark-based screen — dots, lines or hatching on a grid, sized by Spacing.
Fills the frame — full-bleed at any aspect (crops to fit).
Higher = crisper live preview, more work per frame. Export uses its own size below.
These settings shape the file; the file itself comes from Export at the top of the page. It writes the current aspect at the chosen size, with the dither pattern scaled to match the preview. Freeze a live frame first for the sharpest source.
