Vectorize

Trace a raster into crisp, editable vectors — two modes. Outline gives stroked line work (centreline down the middle of each stroke, for a Make2D dump or sketch, or a stroked contour); Fill gives solid shapes (one colour, or a posterised colour separation). Tune with pre-blur, global / adaptive threshold, morphological cleanup, simplify & smooth, then export SVG for Illustrator or DXF (real millimetres) for CAD and laser. Client-side.

Drop a file on the canvas, click Load, or paste (Ctrl/Cmd+V). A clean black-on-white scan — or a Make2D / line drawing — traces best.

Higher = finer detail, slower. Vectors scale cleanly regardless.

Stroked line work — the output is open/closed paths, not solids.

Method

One line down the middle of each stroke — a Make2D / pen drawing becomes single editable paths.

px

Softens grain & noise before tracing.

− drops specks & shaves fuzz · + bridges hairline gaps and joins broken strokes.

px²
px²

Drops isolated specks and tiny loops / holes below this area.

Lower = follows every wobble. Higher = fewer, cleaner nodes.

%
°

Turns sharper than this stay hard corners; gentler ones curve.

px

Drops skeleton spurs and crumbs at crossings.

mm

Sets the DXF scale — the drawing's long edge maps to real millimetres for CAD / laser.

These two settings shape what comes out. The files themselves come from Export at the top of the page — SVG, DXF, or SVG straight to the clipboard.

Drop a drawing, paste, or try the sample.
