Archivist — demo wall
A sandbox wall. Nothing here belongs to a class.
This is the Archivist's assignment wall with the class taken out of it, so you can try everything without touching anyone's work. Eight fictional rows, a two-week calendar, and every cell open to everybody — signed in or not. Click a cell to upload: the picker opens straight away, each image is downscaled on-device to the size you choose (only that copy is saved), you caption each one, and an optional CLEAN pass — the Drawing Cleaner's own engine — turns a photo of a drawing into paper-white linework. Nothing is ever cropped. Opening a cell flows the sheets as captioned cards over a comment band split TA COMMENTS | CLASSMATE COMMENTS, and clicking a sheet carousels through with captions. The REFERENCES grid below holds what the studio works FROM. The PIAF tactile pass belongs to ARCH 371 and is only on that wall. Everything you post here stays in this browser. The two real walls are one click away on the strip above.
Nothing here is a class. Everything you post stays in this browser (images in IndexedDB) and can be deleted from the cell it is in.
Test sign-inSigned out — every row here is open
Students sign ONTO their own row — that row is the only place they can upload; comments can go on anyone’s work. Every row here is open to everyone, signed in or not — test the whole flow on any of them.
THIS BROWSER ONLY. The wall below is open to everyone with no account, but anything you post stays on this machine. Log in with your account to post real work that survives this browser. (The picker above signs you onto a ROW; this signs you into the SITE — different things.)
A sandbox wall. Every row is open to everyone, nothing here belongs to a class, and you can delete whatever you post.

beside a name plays that student’s row, day by day; in a date header plays that whole column, row by row, across every loaded section. A TA or instructor also gets beside each of those, which downloads that row or that column of their section as a zip, and the instructor’s ALL takes the whole column, every section, in one. Open any cell and Slideshow plays that one post. For a review of your own, turn on PICK SHEETS and click sheets anywhere on the wall — each one is numbered with the place it will play, and ALL in a cell’s corner takes the whole cell. The pick is temporary: nothing is saved, and a reload clears it. The player has a speed dial, play / pause and full screen (← → step, space plays, F full screen, Esc closes).
Module 1 — DEMO BOARD
References
What the studio is working from. Two libraries — what your teachers put up, and what everyone else does — and, at the bottom, a shelf that never leaves this browser. Every card says which one it came from.
Main library reference
What your teachers put up: Librarian collections hung on this board — batch-import a set in the Librarian and hang the whole collection, catalogued. The board reads the collection live and never copies it, so a drawing added this afternoon is on the wall this afternoon. Instructors choose what hangs here.
No collection is hanging here yet. Your teachers hang them under Collections.
Shared class library
What everyone else puts up: students, TAs, the teaching team. It belongs to the studio and to no module — what goes up here is still here next module, and next term. Sorted by tag, because it has no folders. Nothing in it has been checked by a teacher, which is what the source line on each card says.
The shared pool is for the studio, so it needs an account — sign in to see what is in it and add your own.
Nothing here yet.
This browser's shelf
Pictures you want on the board while you teach off it. Stored in this browser only — never uploaded, never shared, gone if you clear your browser data. Nobody else sees any of it.
Nothing on this browser’s shelf. It holds 60.
